January 22, 2012: The cut of the Vasilopita in the Orpheus restaurant.
01 February 2012: Formal visit of the President, Mr. Zikou and the coffers of our club sun. Sarra, the new ambassador of Greece in Vienna where the club and its activities were presented.
03 February 2012: Formal visit by President Mr. Zikou and Vice-Presidents of our association Mr. Papadopoulos and Mr. Bakoura, the new Metropolitan of Austria and Exarch of Hungary, Monsignor Arsenios where the club and its activities were presented.
February 17, 2012: General meeting of our Association and elections for the new board of directors, at the Orpheus restaurant.
11 May 2012: In collaboration with the Austro-Hellenic Union There was a speech, presentation of maps, images and reference to studies by the professor of Salzburg University Dr. Herbert Weingartner on "Greek landscapes" in the gallery of Vienna.
May 13, 2012: In collaboration with the Greek company, the Joint Cultural Association of Vienna and Surroundings and the Intercultural Association of Macedonia, there was a bus excursion to Matuthausen. Our club was represented by President Mr. Charilaos Zikou and a vice-President Mr. Papadopoulos.
20 May 2012: Excursion by bus and visit the Petronell-Carnuntum Museum on "1700 years Constantine the Great" where the director of the Museum Mr. Piero Bordin gave us a tour of the museum and told us about the tetrarchy of his time 312 A.D. And for the first Christian emperor, Constantine the Great. After the event had a Mediterranean buffet and wine of the region, with music from the band "The Greeks".
16. June 2012: The Intercultural Association of Macedonia and the Austro-Hellenic Union organized a joint excursion to Schrems, in Waldviertel on the occasion of the holy water of the Chapel of Panagia, which was celebrated by his Eminence Metropolitan of Austria, Exarchos Hungary and Meseuropean Mr Arsenios. Present were too many club members represented by President Sun. Charilaos Ziko, vice president of the Sun. George Papadopoulos and B Vice President Mr. Bakura Christo.
June 28, 2012: The third period of the third year of traditional Greek dances organized by our club with the dance teacher Argyrou Nikou was finished.
20 September 2012: Participation by the President of our club at the Ecumenical Vespers with the participation of the Greek Orthodox metropolitan Bishop of Austria-Exarchou of Hungary, Arsenios, who celebrated on Sunday night the representatives of the churches in Austria in the city Petronelle, east of Vienna, in the ruins of the ancient Roman city of Karnudum. The Vespers took place in memory of the victims of persecution against Christians, but also in the "Synod of the Augouston", which seventeen centuries ago was a turning point in the history of mankind, as it was the beginning of legitimacy of Christianity.
A concert of classical music by large composers with religious references was preceded by the first Women's Chamber Orchestra of Austria, while the events were closed with a three-hour concert of Greek art and folk music by the Music Ensemble of Vienna "the Greeks ".
Much of the concert was dedicated to the memory of the great composer Manos Loizou on the occasion of the 30 years since his death.
04 October 2012: The first period of the fourth year of the traditional Greek dances organized by our club with the dance teacher Argyrou Nikou began.
06 October 2012: Event at the Carnuntum Museum on the great night of the museums with the Greek artist from Germany Mr. Costas Papathanasiou on a journey in mythology with his guitar.
